Goldman Sachs to price callable step-up notes with a 3% initial rate

Knoxville, Tenn., July 22 – Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. plans to price callable step-up fixed-rate notes due August 2022, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The coupon is 3% for the first six years, stepping up to 5% in August 2021. Interest is payable monthly.
The payout at maturity will be par.
The notes will be callable in whole at par quarterly beginning in February 2016.
The notes (Cusip: 38148TAS8) are expected to price and settle in August.
