New Issue: Goldman Sachs prices $4.67 million notes linked to Euro Stoxx 50 index

San Luis Obispo, Calif., April 6 – Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. priced $4.67 million of 0% index-linked notes due Oct. 13, 2016 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index return is zero or positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus the index return, subject to a maximum payout of $1,183 per $1,000 principal amount of notes.

If the index return is negative and the final level is equal to or greater than 81.7% of the initial level, the payout will be par plus the absolute value of the index return.

If the index return is negative and the final level is less than the 81.7% trigger level, investors will receive par plus the index return, with full exposure to losses.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter. J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is the placement agent.
