Goldman Sachs to price protected notes due 2022 linked to S&P 500

Madison, Wis., Dec. 26 – Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. plans to price 0% notes due Aug. 1, 2022 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus the index return, subject to a maximum settlement amount of $1,600 to $1,650 per $1,000 principal amount of notes and a floor of par.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.

The notes are expected to price on Jan. 27 and settle on Jan. 30.

The Cusip number is 38147QQM1.
