Goldman Sachs changes participation rate for notes tied to Euro Stoxx

Tacoma, Wash., Jan. 29 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. changed the participation rate range for its upcoming 0% leveraged buffered notes linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The tenor of the notes is expected to be 36 to 40 months.
If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.2 times to 1.3 times - increased from 1.15 times to 1.25 times - the index return. The exact participation rate will be set at pricing.
Investors will receive par if the index declines by 15% or less and will lose 1.1765% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 15%.
Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
The Cusip number is 38147QAT3.
