New Issue: Goldman prices $3.35 million leveraged buffered notes tied to MSCI EAFE

Chicago, May 17 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. priced $3.35 million principal amount of 0% leveraged buffered notes due Nov. 20, 2014 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any index gain, up to a maximum payment of $1,161.25 for each $1,000 principal amount of notes.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and lose 1.1111% for every 1% decline beyond 10%.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
