Goldman Sachs plans leveraged notes linked to iShares MSCI EM

Chicago, April 30 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. plans to price 0% leveraged notes linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will mature between 18 and 21 months after pricing. The exact deal terms will be set at pricing.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any fund gain, up to a maximum settlement amount of $1,217.50 to $1,255.00 per $1,000 principal amount.

Investors will be exposed to any losses.

Goldman, Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
