Goldman Sachs plans leveraged notes with cap linked to MSCI EAFE

Chicago, April 26 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. plans to price 0% leveraged notes tied to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will mature between 25 and 28 months after pricing.
The payout at maturity will be par plus triple any gain in the index, up to the maximum settlement amount of $1,345 to $1,405 for each $1,000 principal amount.
Investors will be exposed to any losses.
The exact deal terms will be set at pricing.
