New Issue: Goldman sells $1.56 million capped leveraged notes on iShares MSCI EM

Madison, Wis., Feb. 20 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. priced $1.56 million of 0% leveraged notes due March 5, 2014 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus double any index gain, up to a maximum settlement amount of $1,182 for each $1,000 principal amount.
Investors will be exposed to any losses.
Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter with JPMorgan as the placement agent.
