New Issue: Goldman Sachs sells C$650 million of five-year notes at 193 bps spread

Prospect News, Jan. 25 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (A3/A-/DBRS: A) sold C$650 million in a maple bond offering of 3.375% five-year senior notes at 99.868 to yield 3.404% on Friday afternoon, an informed source said.

The notes due Feb. 1, 2018 priced at a spread of 193 basis points over the Canadian bond curve.

Goldman Sachs & Co. was the lead manager.

The financial services company is based in New York City.
