New Issue: Goldman prices $10 million callable step-up notes with 2.5% initial rate

Chicago, April 27 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. priced $10 million of callable step-up fixed-rate notes due April 30, 2016, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The coupon is 2.5% initially, stepping up to 3.5% on Oct. 30, 2014 and to 4.75% on Oct. 30, 2015. Interest is payable semiannually.
The payout at maturity will be par.
The notes will be callable at par on any quarterly date.
