Goldman plans buffered index-linked digital notes on Russell 2000

Chicago, March 6 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. plans to price 0% buffered index-linked digital notes tied to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will mature between 18 and 21 months after issue.
If the index finishes at or above the 85% threshold level, the payout at maturity will be the threshold settlement amount of $1,147 to $1,172 for each $1,000 principal amount of notes. The exact digital payment will be set at pricing.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1.1765% for each 1% decline beyond 15%.
