Goldman to price leveraged notes linked to iShares MSCI EM fund

New York, May 18 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. plans to price 0% leveraged equity index fund-linked notes due 18 to 21 months after issue tied to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any index fund gain, up to the maximum settlement amount of $1,300 to $1,352.50 per $1,000 principal amount of notes. The exact cap will be set at pricing.

Investors will be exposed to any losses.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
