Goldman plans leveraged buffered notes linked to iShares Silver Trust

Chicago, May 6 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. plans to price two-year 0% leveraged buffered fund-linked notes tied to the iShares Silver Trust, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus double any fund gain, up to a maximum settlement amount of $1,300 to $1,350 per $1,000 principal amount.

Investors will receive par if the shares fall by up to 15% and will be exposed to any decline beyond 15%.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.

The Cusip is 38143UUE9. The exact deal terms will be set at pricing.
