Goldman Sachs redeems $450,000 buffered notes linked to S&P, Russell

Madison, Wis., Dec. 1 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. gave notice that it redeemed its $450,000 of outstanding autocallable buffered index-linked notes due March 1, 2013 linked to the worst of the S&P 500 index and the Russell 2000 index.

The notes (Cusip: 38143UXR7) were redeemed on Dec. 1 at 103.625.

The Bank of New York Mellon was the redemption agent.
