New Issue: Goldman Sachs prices $397,000 additional capped notes linked to S&P 500, MSCI EAFE

Tacoma, Wash., May 26 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. priced an additional $397,000 of 0% capped equity index basket-linked notes due May 21, 2015, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The additional notes priced at 98.65 and bring the issue size to $3.2 million. The original $2.8 million of notes priced at par on May 14.

The basket consists of the S&P 500 index with a 75% weight and the MSCI EAFE index with a 25% weight.

The payout at maturity will be par plus the basket return, subject to a minimum payout of par and a maximum payout of $1,750 per $1,000 principal amount.

Goldman, Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
