New Issue: Goldman Sachs prices $38 million 10-year callable step-up notes

Tacoma, Wash., Nov. 12 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. priced $38 million of callable step-up fixed-rate notes due Nov. 15, 2020, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The coupon is 3.5% for years one through five, 4.25% for years six through eight, 7% for year nine and 10% for year 10. Interest is payable semiannually.

The payout at maturity will be par.

The notes are callable at par on any interest payment date beginning May 15, 2011.

Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Incapital LLC are the agents.
