New Issue: Goldman Sachs prices $5.35 million leveraged notes linked to iShares MSCI Emerging Markets

Chicago, June 12 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. priced $5.35 million of 0% leveraged notes due Dec. 24, 2009 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any fund gain, capped at 118.1% of the initial fund price. Investors will receive par for losses up to 20% and will be exposed to any losses beyond 20%.
Goldman, Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
