New Issue: GS Finance sells $546,000 index-linked notes on Dow Select Dividend, S&P
Chicago, Oct. 12 – GS Finance Corp. priced $546,000 of 0% index-linked notes due Oct. 3, 2024 linked to the least performing of the Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend index and the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
If the return of each index is zero or positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus the return of the least performing index, capped at par plus 40%.
If the least performing index falls by up to 30%, the payout will be par plus the absolute value of the return of that index. Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to any losses of the worst performing index from its initial level.
