New Issue: GS Finance prices $954,000 autocallable buffered notes linked to S&P

Chicago, Feb. 15 – GS Finance Corp. priced $954,000 of 0% autocallable buffered index-linked notes due Nov. 22, 2027 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

The notes will be automatically called at par plus 9.25% yearly if the index closes at or above its initial level on any semiannual call date after one year.

If the notes are not called and the index finishes at or above its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times the return of the index.

Investors will receive par if the index declines but finishes above its 85% buffer level.

Otherwise, investors will be exposed to any losses of the index beyond the 15% buffer.
