Buffalo, N.Y., Dec. 14 – GS Finance Corp. priced $6.17 million of 0% buffered digital index-linked notes due Nov. 8, 2023 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
If the final level of the index is greater than or equal to its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 9.45%.
If the index declines by up to 20%, the payout will be par plus the absolute value of the index’s return.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1 % for every 1% that the index declines beyond 20%.
