New Issue: GS Finance prices $2.55 million buffered digital notes on S&P 500

Buffalo, N.Y., May 5 – GS Finance Corp. priced $2.55 million of 0% buffered digital index-linked notes due Oct. 30, 2025 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
If the final level of the index is greater than or equal to its final buffer value, 85% of its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 22.75%.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 15%.
Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC is the underwriter.
