Goldman Sachs Bank to price CDs due July 2023 linked to S&P 500

Columbus, Ohio, Jan. 14 – Goldman Sachs Bank USA plans to price 0% certificates of deposit due Jan. 31, 2023 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a term sheet.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain, subject to a maximum return expected to be 45% and 50%, or par if the index declines. The exact maximum return will be set at pricing.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter. Incapital LLC is the distributor.

The CDs will price on Jan. 22 and settle on Jan. 29.

The Cusip number is 38148DFX7.
