South Africa's Gold Fields mulls notes issuance

Atlanta, Dec. 7 - South Africa's Gold Fields Ltd. is considering an issue of notes, a market source said.

The proceeds would be used to refinance a bridge loan.

No other details were immediately available on Friday.

Gold Fields is a Johannesburg-based gold mining company.
