Golden Telecom gets $275 million term loan

New York, Jan. 25 - Golden Telecom Inc. closed on a new $275 million five-year unsecured term loan facility on Thursday, according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Citibank London Branch and ING Bank acted as lead arrangers on the deal, with Citibank the agent.

Pricing on the facility is set at Libor plus 150 basis points for 24 months and then it moves up to Libor plus 200 bps.

Borrowings are available for general corporate purposes, including acquisitions, the payment of dividends and capital expenditures.

Golden Telecom is a Moscow-based telecom provider.
