Moody's may lower GMAC Mexicana

Moody's Investors Service said it announced today a change in the review status of GMAC Mexicana, SA de CV Sofol and GMAC Financiera, SA de CV Sofol's long-term Mexican national-scale debt ratings of Aa3(mx) to review for possible downgrade from direction uncertain.

At the same time, Moody's said it confirmed GMAC Mexicana and GMAC Financiera's MX-2 national-scale short-term debt ratings.

These ratings actions follow Moody's decision to change the review status of parent General Motors Acceptance Corp.'s long-term debt rating of Ba1 to review for possible downgrade from direction uncertain, the agency noted.
