GMAC Mexicana plans to sell Ps. 425 million of certificados bursatiles in three tranches

New York, Aug. 22 - GMAC Mexicana SA de CV Sofol said it plans to sell a total of Ps. 425 million of certificados bursatiles (MX-2/mxA-2/F2(mex)) in three tranches via an auction on Wednesday.

The issuer will sell Ps. 250 million of 28-day certificados bursatiles. The maturity date is Sept. 21, 2006.

The second tranche includes Ps. 100 million of 91-day certificados bursatiles. The maturity date is Nov. 23, 2006.

And the third tranche is made up of Ps. 75 million of 182-day certificados bursatiles. The maturity date is Feb. 22, 2007.

The settlement date is scheduled for Thursday. The 28-day certificates are issue number 094 in GMAC Mexicana's current certificados bursatiles program. The 91-day certificates are issue number 095 and the 182-day certificates are issue number 096.

The issuer, based in Monterrey, Mexico, is a financial unit of GMAC in Mexico.
