S&P lifts Gloucester County, N.J., bonds to AA+

Standard & Poor's said it raised its rating to AA+ from AA- on Gloucester County, N.J.'s existing general obligation debt.

The rating was also raised to AA+ on Gloucester County Improvement Authority, N.J.'s debt issued for and secured by the G.O. pledge of the county.

At the same time, S&P said it assigned an AA+ rating to the authority's $90.78 million of series 2008 county guaranteed-loan revenue bonds.

The outlook is stable.
