Global Ship Lease gets loan waiver of vessel valuations requirement

New York, April 30 - Global Ship Lease Inc. received a two-month waiver under its credit facility of the requirement to submit vessel valuations, according to a news release.

During the waiver period, pricing on the loan is Libor plus 275 basis points.

In addition, the company will not pay dividends to common shareholders during the waiver period.

The company also said that it is negotiating an amendment with lenders.

Global Ship is a New York-based containership charter owner.
