Global Safety Textiles unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, July 23 - Global Safety Textiles Holdings LLC's official committee of unsecured creditors has been appointed by U.S. Trustee Roberta A. DeAngelis, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The committee is comprised of Thomas J. Tangney of Dow Corning Corp., based in Midland, Mich.; Steven B. Pasbjerg of Schreiner Protech NA of Southfield, Mich.; and Juan Florez of YKK (USA) Inc. of Marietta, Ga.

Global Safety, a subsidiary of Greensboro, N.C.-based textile manufacturer International Textile, filed for bankruptcy on June 30. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-12234.
