Global Power granted fifth bridge exclusivity extension; new hearing date Oct. 9

Portland, Ore., Sept. 28 - Global Power Equipment Group Inc. received a fifth bridge extension for its exclusive periods to file a plan of reorganization and solicit votes on the plan after the hearing was postponed to Oct. 9, according to a Friday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The exclusive plan filing period is now set to expire on Oct. 9, and the solicitation period will end Dec. 10.

The exclusivity extension hearing was originally scheduled for July 10.

Global Power, a Tulsa, Okla., maker of gas turbine power plants and power-related equipment for industrial operations, filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 28, 2006. The Chapter 11 case number is 06-11045.
