Global Power posts $2.78 million EBITDA for May

Pittsburgh, July 16 - Global Power Equipment Group Inc. reported EBITDA of $2.78 million for May on revenues of $39.62 million, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The operating profit for the month was $269,000, and the May net income was $1.01 million.

The company had $23.94 million in cash at May 31.

Global Power, a Tulsa, Okla., maker of gas turbine power plants and power-related equipment for industrial operations, filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 28, 2006. The Chapter 11 case number is 06-11045.
