Fitch rates Global Investment House BBB

Fitch Ratings said it assigned Global Investment House ratings of issuer default BBB with stable outlook, short-term F3, individual C and support 5, along with a support rating floor of "no floor."

The ratings reflect Global's strong franchise in regional corporate finance and asset management, sound profitability and capital base and moderate risk profile, Fitch said. They also reflect the company's rapid growth and some sensitivity to the regional economy and stock markets, the agency added.

Upside potential for Global's issuer default and individual ratings could arise if the company continues to expand its operations and profitability without any significant deterioration in its risk profile or capital base, Fitch said.
