By Toni Weeks

San Diego, April 19 - Global Hunter Securities has added fixed-income analyst Robert Goodman as a managing director and high-yield sales analyst, according to a press release.

Goodman, who will join the New York office, has more than 25 years of experience in the finance industry, spending the last 18 years at CRT Capital Group, where he specialized in high-yield, distressed and special situation equities. Prior to joining CRT, he was an analyst with Goldman Sachs.

"Robert Goodman is exactly the type of professional we are looking for as we build the Global Hunter Securities high-yield effort on a foundation of highly experienced, senior personnel," Jonathan Blatt, managing director and co-head of global credit sales and trading, said in the release.

Goodman holds a BA in economics from Yale University and a master's degree in business administration from New York University.

Global Hunter Securities, a New Orleans-based investment firm, focuses on energy, health care, China and metals and mining sectors.
