Global Geophysical sees $8.3 million loss, revenue increase for July

New York, Sept 3 – Global Geophysical Services, Inc. reported a net loss of $8.3 million for July on revenue of $24.57 million, according to its monthly operating report filed Sept. 2 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.
Those numbers compare to a net loss of $11.92 million in June on revenue of $13.44 million.
The company also reported cash of $17.46 million as of July 31, dropping from $29.04 million at the end of June.
Global Geophysical, a Missouri City, Texas-based provider of seismic data services to the oil and gas industry, filed for bankruptcy on March 25. The Chapter 11 case number is 14-20130.
