Panama’s Global Bank planning to issue new notes

Columbus, Ohio, April 2 – Panama’s Global Bank Corp. is planning to issue new notes in a Regulation S/Rule 144A offering, according to a news release.

The planned issue was announced in conjunction with the launch of a tender offer for the company’s 5 1/8% notes due 2019.

Holders who tender their 2019 notes may be given preference in allocation of the new notes, the company reported.

The issuer is a bank based in Panama City.
