Global Aviation Holdings reports $2.96 million March operating profit

Pittsburgh, April 30 - Global Aviation Holdings Inc. reported a $2.96 million operating profit for March on $62.37 million of total operating revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York.

The net loss for the month was $20.09 million.

The company reported cash and cash equivalents of $43.79 million as of March 31.

Global Aviation is a Peachtree City, Ga.-based provider of charter air transportation for the U.S. military and of commercial global passenger and cargo air transportation services. The company filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 5. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-40783.
