Global Aviation official creditors committee appointed by U.S. Trustee

Pittsburgh, Feb. 13 - Region 2 U.S. Trustee Tracy Hope Davis has appointed Global Aviation Holdings, Inc.'s official committee of unsecured creditors, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York.

The committee members include David Freriks of Specialized Freight Forwarders BV of Schiphol, the Netherlands; Cynthia de Figueiredo of International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Airline Division, based in Washington, D.C.; Neil J. Savasta of Local 210's Pension Fund, based in New York; Albert Gallo of Airline Pilots Association, International of Bloomington, Minn.; Beth Hansen of Goodrich Corp. of Charlotte, N.C.; Jay Scollins of HEMW, LLC of Boston; and Mitchell E. Grodman of World Fuel Services, Inc. of Miami.

Global Aviation is a Peachtree City, Ga.-based provider of charter air transportation for the U.S. military and of commercial global passenger and cargo air transportation services. The company filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 5. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-40783.
