Glendale, Ariz., to price $65.5 million in water and sewer revenue bonds on Wednesday

New York, Feb. 26 - The City of Glendale in Arizona intends to price $65.5 million in series 2008A subordinated lien water and sewer revenue obligation bonds on Wednesday, according to a preliminary official statement.

The bonds (AA) will be sold on a competitive basis and have a serial structure from 2009 to 2028.

The city will use the proceeds to pay for its share of upgrades and expansion to the 91st Avenue Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant, the replacement and rehabilitation of water lines in the system, the design and construction of upgrades to the Cholla Water Treatment Plant to meet federal regulations and the construction of water treatment plants.
