Glencore Funding to price notes due 2031, 2051; talk emerges

Concord, N.H., Sept. 15 – Glencore Funding LLC was in the market on Wednesday with a two-tranche offering of senior notes, according to an informed source.

A tranche of 10-year notes was being talked to price with a spread in the Treasuries plus 155 basis points to 160 bps area.

And a tranche of 30-year notes was being talked to price in the area of Treasuries plus 180 bps.

BofA Securities, Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., ING Financial Markets Inc. and MUFG are the lead managers.

Glencore Funding is a Stamford, Conn.-based U.S. funding arm of Glencore plc.
