George K. Baum adds Waugh as vice president for higher ed, nonprofit

Columbus, Ohio, June 30 – George K. Baum & Co. added Nick Waugh to its higher education and nonprofit finance group as a vice president, according to a press release.

For the past seven years as a member of Standard and Poor's education group, Waugh rated many of the nation's leading colleges, universities, independent schools, museums and other nonprofit institutions, according to the release. He worked in New York, Boston and San Francisco, rising to the roll of director of public finance at the end of his S&P service.

Waugh earned his master of business administration from the Yale School of Management and his bachelor of arts in economics from Williams College.

George K. Baum is a Kansas City, Mo.-based investment bank.
