Alpha Natural Resources gets waiver from bank group on financial reporting delay

New York, Aug. 14 - Alpha Natural resources Inc. has received a waiver from lenders under its credit facility regarding a delay in delivering second-quarter financials, according to a company news release.

The company plans on filing its 10-Q no later than Aug. 21.

Alpha Natural Resources is an Abingdon, Va.-based producer of high-quality Appalachian coal.
