Farallon Capital Partners cuts passive stake to 4.8% in GeoEye

Philadelphia, Dec. 30 - Farallon Capital Partners, LP cut its equity investment to 4.8% in GeoEye, Inc. as of Dec. 22, according to an SC 13G/A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

That represents a passive stake of 887,752 shares.

Those holdings are down from the passive stake of 6.6%, or 1,180,081 shares, the company reported owning on Dec. 31, 2007.

Farallon initially reported ownership of 5.5%, or 966,454 shares, on Feb. 5, 2007.

GeoEye, based in Birmingham, Ala., sells remote-sensing technologies and satellite imagery.
