GenOn plan confirmation and settlement hearings adjourned to Dec. 12

Pittsburgh, Nov. 22 – GenOn Energy, Inc.’s plan confirmation and global settlement approval hearings have been adjourned to Dec. 12, according to a notice filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

The hearings were previously scheduled to be held on Nov. 28 after originally being adjourned from Nov. 13.

GenOn, a Princeton, N.J.-based power producer, filed bankruptcy on June 14. The Chapter 11 case number is 17-33695.
