Cantor expands fixed-income coverage with addition of two managers

Kansas City, Kan., Sept. 11 - Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. has hired Michael Rowe and Luiz Schlittler to be managing directors in the firm's debt capital markets' emerging markets group, according to a news release.

"The appointment of Michael and Luiz adds to our existing relationships and expertise, further strengthening our capability in developing and emerging markets," Shawn P. Matthews, Cantor chief executive officer, said in a news release.

Rowe will focus on emerging markets corporate bond trading and Schlittler will focus on emerging market sales.

Both men join the firm from Jeffries & Co., where they were senior vice presidents in the emerging markets division.

Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. is a New York-based financial services firm.
