Wellesley hires Bill Feingold as portfolio manager in New York office
By Tali David
Minneapolis, July 10 - Wellesley Investment Advisors announced that Bill Feingold has joined the firm as a portfolio manager in its New York City office, according to a press release.
Before joining Wellesley, Feingold was managing director and convertible strategist at BTIG LLC. His previous roles include convertible trader with Goldman Sachs and head of U.S. convertible research with Lehman Bros. Feingold's investing experience includes positions as portfolio manager with Clinton Group and partner/portfolio manager with FrontPoint Partners, the firm said. Feingold is also the author of "Beating the Indexes: Investing in Convertible Bonds to Improve Performance and Reduce Risk," a recent Times Press book.
"Bill has a unique background, one that greatly complements our existing professional team," Wellesley co-founder and chief executive officer Greg Miller said in the release. "He's been a trader, a portfolio manager, an analyst and perhaps most importantly, a teacher. While Bill's hedge-fund experience deepens our knowledge base, he shares our belief that convertibles are best suited to long-term holders who can exploit their unique risk/reward properties."
Wellesley is a Wellesley, Mass.-based firm.
