Jefferies adds Norley as head of European restructuring in London

By Tali David

Minneapolis, May 21 - Jefferies Group, Inc. hired Lyndon Norley as a managing director and head of European restructuring and recapitalization investment banking, according to a press release.

Norley joins the firm from Greenberg Traurig Maher, where he was head of their European restructuring practice. Previously, he was head of the European restructuring practice at Kirkland & Ellis for seven years and a partner in the financial restructuring practice of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, where he practiced for five years.

"The hiring of Lyndon Norley significantly enhances our restructuring capability in Europe at a time when we believe an increasing number of European clients will be needing advice and solutions in this area," Benjamin D. Lorello, global head of investment banking and capital markets at Jefferies, said in the release.

Norley will be based in the firm's London office.

Jefferies is a New York-based provider of investment banking, trading, research and asset management.
