DWS Enhanced Global Bond Fund adds Vemuri, Choe as portfolio managers

By Toni Weeks

San Diego, Oct. 10 - The DWS Enhanced Global Bond Fund has added Ohn Choe and Kumar Vemuri as portfolio managers, effective Dec. 1, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

They join existing portfolio managers Kenneth R. Bowling, David Vignolo and William Chepolis.

Choe joined Deutsche Asset Management in 2005 and is a portfolio manager for retail fixed income.

Vemuri, who joined Deutsche Asset Management in 2009 after 12 years experience at Bell Labs Innovations, Alcatel-Lucent, TCS-BNR Labs and Larsen & Toubro Ltd., is a portfolio manager for specialty fixed income.

The fund seeks total return with an emphasis on current income with capital appreciation as a secondary goal by investing at least 80% of net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in bonds of issuers from around the world. Up to 35% of net assets may be invested in high-yield bonds.

New York-based Deutsche Investment Management Americas Inc. serves as the fund's investment adviser.
