Ziegler hires Townsend for senior living/post-acute care banking team

By Toni Weeks

San Diego, Sept. 14 - Ziegler said it has added Rebecca Neth Townsend as a senior vice president to its senior living and post-acute care banking team in its Scottsdale, Ariz., office, according to a press release.

Townsend will focus on sponsorship structures for not-for-profit senior living and health care organizations, including consolidations and affiliations, as well as consulting and advisory opportunities in the integration of health care and senior living spaces.

Prior to joining Ziegler, Townsend served as senior vice president of Covenant Retirement Communities, where she took on various roles in marketing, project and strategic development.

"We are honored to have Rebecca join our senior living team," Dan Hermann, head of investment banking, said in the release. "She has gained extensive knowledge of the senior living and health care spaces by developing and working within continuing care retirement community systems and providers of all types."

Ziegler is an affiliate of the Ziegler Cos., Inc., a Chicago-based specialty investment bank that focuses on complex credit structures and advisory services in the sectors of health care, senior living, religion, education finance and corporate finance.
