San Diego, June 1 - Jefferies Group, Inc. has appointed Sean George and Richard Roche as managing directors and senior traders to its investment-grade corporate bond business based in New York, according to a press release.

George joins Jefferies from Deutsche Bank, where he was a managing director and head of investment-grade credit default swap and credit electronic trading. Prior to that, he was global co-head of credit default swap trading at Bank of America. George earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.

Roche comes to Jefferies from Morgan Stanley, where he was most recently a managing director and co-head of investment-grade corporate bond trading. He earned a bachelor's degree from Syracuse University.

"The addition of Sean and Rich enhances the size and scope of Jefferies' capabilities in investment-grade bonds for our institutional clients," Tom Thees, head of investment-grade corporate bonds, said in the release. "They are proven professionals, and their hiring furthers our efforts to leverage Jefferies' full-service offering and brings additional service to existing and new institutional clients."
