By Toni Weeks

San Diego, June 1 - SunTrust Robinson Humphrey has added Christopher Gray and Ethan Lacy to its high-yield group in New York, according to a press release.

Gray joins the firm as a managing director in the high-yield sales space. He brings more than 21 years of experience in high-yield finance, including nine years with the high-yield group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and seven years with Salomon Brothers and related companies.

Lacy joins the firm as a high-yield desk research analyst for the media and communications sector. He was most recently with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he spent nine years covering media and communications in the high-yield group.

Robert Popowski, SunTrust's head of fixed-income institutional sales, trading and research, said the new hires reflect the company's ongoing strategy to grow the fixed-income platform.

"We see significant opportunity in the fixed-income markets, particularly in the high-yield sector," he said in the release. "Christopher and Ethan are highly experienced professionals with proven track records of performance in this space, and we are confident in their ability to help us further our commitment to offer an even wider array of solutions and services."

SunTrust Robinson Humphrey is the corporate and investment banking arm of Atlanta-based SunTrust Banks, Inc.
